Overview
Imported PDFs are treated as background images in ArcSite. You can draw and annotate on top of them, but you cannot edit the original text, lines, or objects within the PDF.
If you need to hide part of an imported PDF, you can cover the area with a filled shape, export the drawing as a new PDF, and then re-import the updated file.

How It Works
When you import a PDF into ArcSite, the entire file becomes a single image. Because of this, you cannot:
Edit text
Move existing lines or shapes
Delete portions of the original PDF
To remove or hide content, cover the area with a shape filled with a solid color (typically white), then export the drawing as a new PDF.
Common Scenarios
Hide Unwanted Content
Tap Measure > Area Polygon.
Draw a shape over the portion of the PDF you want to hide.
Set the fill color to solid white.
Tap Share > PDF.
Import the newly exported PDF into ArcSite.
Imported the Wrong PDF
Delete the drawing from your device, then import the correct PDF file.
Tips
Use a fill color that matches the PDF background for the cleanest result.
You must delete drawings from the ArcSite app on your device. Drawings cannot be deleted from the User Site.
