Subscribing to ArcSite via Google Play — Everything You Need to Know

This article covers everything related to your ArcSite subscription when you signed up or are paying through the Google Play Store

This article covers everything related to your ArcSite subscription when you signed up or are paying through the Google Play Store — including how to confirm your subscription status, what happens at the end of your trial, how to cancel, how to find your receipts, and how to switch to direct billing.

How Google Play Subscriptions Work

ArcSite is available on the Google Play Store. When you subscribe through Google Play, all billing, renewals, and cancellations are managed by Google — not by ArcSite. This means:

  • ArcSite cannot view, modify, or cancel your Google Play subscription on your behalf.

  • Any billing questions must be resolved directly with Google.

Am I Subscribed Through Google Play?

If you're not sure whether you subscribed through Google Play, ArcSite directly, or the Apple App Store, check here first.

💡 Not sure what email you used? Open the ArcSite app, tap the Account icon, and go to Profile & Settings > Profile Info. Your account email will be listed there. You'll need it to log into the ArcSite user site below.

Option A — Check the ArcSite User Site

  1. Go to user.arcsite.com and log in using your ArcSite account email.

  2. Click your email in the top-right corner and select Subscriptions.

  3. The page will display whether your subscription is managed through ArcSite directly, Apple, or Google Play.

Option B — Check Google Play

  1. Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device.

  2. Tap your profile icon in the top right corner.

  3. Tap Payments & subscriptions, then tap Subscriptions.

  4. Look for ArcSite in the list.

You can also view your subscriptions directly at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.

Note: If ArcSite does not appear in your Google Play Subscriptions list, you either did not commit to a plan during signup (no charge will occur), or you are subscribed through ArcSite directly or the Apple App Store — confirm via Option A.

Understanding the 14-Day Free Trial

When you first download ArcSite from the Google Play Store, you may be prompted to select a subscription plan as part of setup. Here's what to know:

If you selected a subscription plan during signup:

  • Your 14-day free trial begins immediately.

  • At the end of the trial, the first billing period begins and your Google account is automatically charged at the plan level you selected — unless you cancel before the trial expires.

  • ArcSite will appear in your Google Play Subscriptions list.

If you did not select a subscription plan during signup:

  • You still get 14 days of access.

  • You will not be automatically charged when the trial ends.

  • ArcSite will not appear in your Google Play Subscriptions list.

  • When the trial expires, your account will be locked until you choose and pay for a plan.

⚠️ Important: Uninstalling the ArcSite app does not cancel your Google Play subscription. You must cancel through Google Play directly to stop future charges.

How to Cancel Your Google Play Subscription or Trial

Google requires all cancellations to be done through Google Play — ArcSite cannot cancel on your behalf.

To cancel on your Android device:

  1. On your Android device, go to subscriptions in Google Play.

  2. Select the ArcSite subscription.

  3. Tap Cancel subscription.

  4. Follow the on-screen instructions.

✅ If you see an expiration date instead of a Cancel button, your subscription is already canceled and will not renew. You will still have access through the end of your current billing period.

⚠️ Reminder: Uninstalling the ArcSite app does not cancel your subscription. Always cancel through Google Play directly.

For full details on canceling, see Cancel, pause, or change a subscription on Google Play.

Google Play Account vs. ArcSite Account Email

Your Google Play account email and your ArcSite login email may be different. This is one of the most common reasons a Google Play subscription doesn't appear active inside the ArcSite app.

  • Your Google Play email is the Google account used to purchase the subscription.

  • Your ArcSite email is the address you used when creating your ArcSite account.

If you need help from our team, provide both so we can locate your account quickly. Email us at support@arcsite.com.

How to Switch from Google Play Billing to Direct ArcSite Payment

To switch, email support@arcsite.com and let our team know you'd like to move from your Google Play subscription to a direct ArcSite subscription. Our team will assist you with the transition. Once the switch is complete, cancel your Google Play subscription using the steps in the cancellation section above.

💡 Your existing plans and drawings will not be impacted when you switch.

🚨 Important: Switching to direct billing does not automatically cancel your Google Play subscription. You must cancel through Google Play separately or you will be charged by both Google and ArcSite.

"Delete Account" Does Not Cancel Your Subscription

Within ArcSite's profile settings, there is a Delete Account option. This is a separate action and does not cancel your Google Play subscription.

  • Using Delete Account removes your data from ArcSite's system permanently.

  • It will not stop future Google Play charges.

  • Always cancel through Google Play first, then use Delete Account only if you want to permanently remove your records.
