Steps

1. Log the user off their device.

Obtain the device from the departing user and log them out of the ArcSite app.

2. Publish any unpublished drawings.

Log into the device as the user. Open any drawings that haven't been published to the cloud yet and publish them. Once saved to the cloud, contact ArcSite support if you want to transfer that work to a different user on your account.

3. Reset the user's password.

  • Tap Settings > Account

  • Find the user in the list, then under Actions, tap Reset Password

Tip: If the user still has access to the email on their ArcSite account, contact ArcSite support to reroute any password reset emails to a different address.

4. Remove project access.

In the User Site, go to the Projects tab. Find each project shared with the user, tap Share, and remove them from the list. You can also reassign the project to another rep at this point.

5. Remove the user account.

Go to Settings > User List. Find the user, tap Actions > Remove.

Tips

  • Complete Step 2 before Step 5. Removing the account before publishing will permanently delete any drawings saved only to that device.

  • Removing a user's account in Step 5 also revokes their project access. You only need Step 4 if you want to reassign projects to another rep before the account is removed.
