Learn how to create and send your first estimate in ArcSite with short videos for new Estimate users, from setup to sharing a proposal.

Overview

Get your ArcSite account ready to create and send estimates on the Estimate plan. The 15 video tutorials in this article cover each setup step in order. Parts 1 through 9 take place on the ArcSite User Site, the web-based back office where you set up your account, products, and proposal templates. Parts 10 through 13 take place in the ArcSite app, where your team creates drawings and sends proposals in the field, and Part 14 shows what your customer sees. Watch the videos in order, or go directly to the section you need. The FAQs section at the end answers common questions.

How to Set Up Your Company Account

Set up your company account on the ArcSite User Site before you create your first estimate. These videos walk you through adding your company name, address, logo, brand colors, and team, setting your margins and discounts, creating Field Data questions to capture job details in the field, setting up tax rates, deposits, and payment schedules, and turning on eSignatures for your proposals.

How to Build Your Product Library and Proposal Template

Build your product library and proposal template on the ArcSite User Site before you start quoting. Build a Product Library Your Crew Can Find Fast | ArcSite Setup, Pt. 6

In this video, you will organize your product library into categories on the ArcSite User Site, where the order you set is the order your team sees in the app. You also create a product by choosing how it's drawn: as a line, wall surface, area, volume, shape, or with no visual for items like labor or permits.

Add Photos, Videos, and Spec Sheets to Your Products | ArcSite Setup, Pt. 7

In this video, you will finish setting up a product on the ArcSite User Site by choosing input or calculated pricing, marking it taxable, and adding photos, videos, and documents such as spec sheets for your customers to review.
