Overview
Import multiple Field Data questions at once using a spreadsheet instead of creating them one by one. This saves time when setting up projects with many custom data collection fields.

Step-by-Step
Open your project and go to the Field Data section
Click "Import Questions" or the import icon
Download the template spreadsheet to see the required format
Fill out your spreadsheet with question text, type (text, number, dropdown, etc.), and any required options
Save your file as CSV or Excel format
Upload your completed spreadsheet using the file picker
Review the preview of imported questions
Click "Import" to add all questions to your project
Tips
Use the template spreadsheet to ensure your format matches what ArcSite expects
For dropdown questions, separate multiple options with commas
Keep question text under 100 characters for better mobile display
Test import with a few questions first before uploading large lists
Troubleshooting
If your import fails, check that required columns are filled out and question types are spelled correctly. Make sure dropdown options are separated by commas with no extra spaces. Try importing a smaller batch if you get timeout errors with large files.
