While you want to have Products and Bundles to capture relevant information like quantities and pricing, you don't always want to show those to either your potential clients or the members of your team.
You can use the Visibility options to determine whether these objects should be shown in the selection areas of the app and / or on outputs.
Why You Would want to do this
To reduce visual "clutter" when selecting objects within the Selection Panels. By hiding items that are not relevant, your team members will only see the ones they need.
Ensure end users are using the higher level bundles rather than one of it individual components.
Reduce the number of product categories. Since individual products do not need to be displayed in app panels, you can have Products and Bundles mixed together in a single product category.
Do not show materials on your output documents - For many of our clients, hiding the individual materials that go into a project is of the utmost importance. Or there might be just certain objects that you want to hide. Either way, the ability to hide them from client facing output documents is possible using these options.

There are two ways to set visibility for your Products and Bundles objects.

Where
On Both the Product and Bundle tabs of the import spreadsheet there are the following columns for setting visibility.
Hide on App
Hide on Proposal
How
By default these columns are blank (meaning that all will be displayed). To hide the object, type the letter "Y" in the appropriate cell.
for example, for the object defined below, the product or bundle would appear in the app selection panels but not appear in any output documents.
