Improving Log in Performance using the Archive feature
Updated over a week ago

Issue:

As your project library expands, there may come a point when logging into your account becomes slower.

This is due to the fact that every time you log in to ArcSite, it performs a "refresh" check to determine if there have been any updates to your work.

Especially for accounts with access to view other accounts projects or for those who have created numerous projects themselves, this update task can become a significant event and can hinder the login process.

Solution:

ArcSite offers a feature known as Archive, which you can find more information about in general here.

An additional benefit of utilizing Archive is that ArcSite will not conduct update checks on any Archived projects.

Therefore, archiving inactive, completed, or otherwise not currently needed projects serves as an excellent method to enhance the login performance.
