Using Tags to Organize Your Work

Summary:

Tags allow you to categorize your work by status, lead source, material type, or any other custom criteria. Once tagged, you can filter your project list to find specific files quickly.

Tag a Project or Drawing in the App

The process for tagging is the same for both projects (folders) and individual drawings.

  1. Locate the project or drawing in your list.

  2. Tap the triple dot icon to the right of the name.

  3. In the Details panel, tap Add next to the Tags section.

  4. Perform one of the following:

    • Select an existing tag: Tap a tag from the list of previously created options.

    • Create a new tag: Type a name into the text field and tap Add.

  5. Tap Done or Save to apply the changes.

Tag via the ArcSite User Site (Cloud)

You can manage tags in bulk or from your desktop via the User Site.

  1. Log in to the ArcSite User Site.

  2. Navigate to the Projects or Drawings tab.

  3. Click the Checkbox next to the item(s) you wish to tag.

  4. Select the Tags button from the top action menu.

  5. Choose your tags and click Apply.
