AI Trace converts an imported photo or PDF into an editable vector floor plan, saving you from manually tracing every wall. It works with a photo of a hand-drawn sketch or an imported PDF, such as an existing as-built, permit drawing, or plat map.

Workflow Guide
Goal: Turn an imported photo or PDF into an editable vector floor plan instead of tracing it by hand.
Steps:
Tap Create Drawing, then import a photo or PDF. This can be a photo of a hand-drawn floor plan, a PDF plan, or a plat map.
Preview the imported reference and select "Trace Plan with AI."
Wait while AI Trace processes the reference into a vector floor plan with walls and openings.
Review the generated trace, then choose Keep Trace & Edit to bring it into your drawing, or Discard Trace to start over.
Adjust the result as needed. AI Trace saves most of the tracing work, but you may need to fine-tune a few lines rather than redraw them from scratch.
