Updated over a week ago

What is TRUE?

TRUE is web-based ERP software designed for subcontractors in the construction industry. Itā€™s an all-inclusive solution containing a long list of modules helping users do everything from track sales leads to generating proposals, managing projects, scheduling crews, issuing work orders, timekeeping, online document storage, procurement, shipping/receiving, inventory control, job costing, invoicing and accounting - all while being integrable with any version of QuickBooks.

Where does ArcSite fit in?

During the quoting/estimating process, ArcSite will provide users with the ability to create a professional drawing on site; as well as the ability to generate a full bill of materials and even a signable proposal. This info can then be used back in TRUE to complete the rest of the process.

ArcSite and TRUE together will allow for a seamless start to finish to your sales process.

How does the integration work?

Step 1: Connect your ArcSite account to TRUE. Do so by logging into the web version of ArcSite, navigate to Advanced Settings to get the API key (might need more specific steps here). Within TRUE, navigate to Company Preferences, scroll down to the Partner Apps section and enter the ā€˜ArcSite API Tokenā€™.

Step 2 : Create a ā€˜blankā€™ Quote in TRUE.

Step 3: Send Quote to ArcSite by clicking Items tab > Gear Icon > Partner Apps > ā€˜ArcSiteā€™. This will create a new ā€œProjectā€ in ArcSite. Note: the user assigned to the Quote in TRUE needs to have a matching account in ArcSite.

Step 4: Create a drawing in ArcSite. Anything drawn with ā€œproductsā€ within ArcSite will show up under the ā€œTakeoff & Estimateā€ section in ArcSite, with products/pricing assigned. Finally, make sure to upload drawing to cloud.

Step 5: Back in TRUE, ā€˜pullā€™ in info from ArcSite by following the same steps in Step 3: Items tab > Gear Icon > Partner Apps > click ā€˜Pullā€™ button. This should pull in the drawing and pull in line items.

Step 6: Complete Quote (if necessary) in TRUE then generate eForm proposal.
