Products - An Overview
Updated over a week ago

Products are the building blocks of your environment. They are used to define every product and service which you want to track in ArcSite and are used for defining quantities and pricing.

These products will be combined into logical groupings into what are called Bundles and it it those items that are used in the diagrams.

There are 2 types of products used in setting up your Fence library. Those are:

Line Based Products

Line-based products are defined as a line with pre-defined color, weight, and style. Using a line-based product involves selecting the appropriate line product from the Product Panel and then drawing a line on the canvas.

By doing so, it will show the line in the diagram and calculate the linear unit of your choice (LF, LM, LI, LMM)

Non Visual Products

ArcSite has the ability to capture non-visual and custom-priced Product options. Most of your ArcSite products and services will be added visually to the diagram, however, if it does not make sense as a visual element (For example – a Work Permit Fee, Extended warranties, or a test to run) ArcSite allows you to define “non-visible” products.
