Integration Setup Steps
Step 1: Obtain ArcSite API Key
Log in to the ArcSite user site: https://user.arcsite.com/
Navigate to Settings > Developers > API tokens.
Click "Generate new token."
Enter a description for the token and click OK.
Hit the page icon to the right of the token to copy to your device's clipboard.
Step 2: Connect ArcSite in View Suite Admin
Log in to the View Suite Admin: admin.solutionview.app
Navigate to Company > Integrations
Toggle on switch under ArcSite and click "Connect."
Paste the API token/key generated in ArcSite into the "API Key" field, then Save.
Step 3: Connect Users in View Suite Admin
Staying in the View Suite Admin, click on Users tab (Company > Users). Then click the pencil next to the first user for whom you need to give ArcSite access.
Scroll down to the Integrations section and enter the email address the user logs into ArcSite with in the email field under "ArcSite User." Then Save.
Repeat the two preceding steps for all other users who need ArcSite access. Each user must be enabled individually following these steps.
Note: This process will add the buttons in SolutionView to Create/Update/Import from ArcSite. Without this step, the buttons will not appear in app for the relevant user.
