Learn how to Pan and Zoom with in your drawing

Pan and zoom controls let you navigate your drawing and adjust the view. Use these controls to move around large projects and focus on specific details.

Availability

  • Plan: All plans

  • Platform: iOS, Android, Web

iOS and Android

  1. Zoom in: Pinch outward with two fingers on the screen

  2. Zoom out: Pinch inward with two fingers on the screen

  3. Pan: Drag with two fingers in any direction

Web (Windows)

  1. Zoom in/out: Scroll with your mouse wheel

  2. Pan: Click and drag with your mouse

Web (Mac OS)

  1. Zoom in/out: Scroll with your mouse wheel or trackpad

  2. Pan: Click and drag with your mouse or trackpad

  3. Enable mouse wheel zoom: If mouse wheel zoom isn't working, go to Settings and enable the mouse scroll wheel zoom option

Tips

  • Use zoom to check measurements and alignment on detailed areas of your drawing

  • Pan with two fingers to avoid accidentally selecting objects

  • On Mac OS, if you prefer trackpad gestures over mouse wheel zoom, you can disable the mouse scroll wheel option in Settings

Troubleshooting

  • Mouse wheel zoom not working on Mac: Check your Settings to ensure mouse scroll wheel zoom is enabled. This option may be turned off by default.

  • Gestures not responding on mobile: Make sure you're using two fingers for pan and zoom. Single-finger gestures are reserved for drawing and selecting objects.

  • View jumps unexpectedly: This can happen if you switch between one-finger and two-finger gestures too quickly. Lift all fingers from the screen and start the gesture again.
