This lesson outlines the basic drawing tools available within the ArcSite mobile app and how to use them to create lines, arcs, shapes, and annotations.
Basic Drawing Tools
To access your drawing tools, open or create a project from within the ArcSite mobile app. Then click Create Drawing from within your Project level view. Lastly, once you're in the canvas view of your new drawing, tap the Draw Icon from the right-side menu to open your list of available tools. Tap the drawing tool that best suits your needs.
Note that drawing tools are only available in the mobile app and not in the web browser version.
Drawing Options:
Continuous Lines - This allows you to continuously move your finger around the canvas and create straight lines in any direction.
Continuous Lines & Arcs - This allows you to continuously move your finger around the canvas to create straight lines or arc shapes.
Line / Arc - This allows you to draw one line or arc at a time.
Free Hand - Draw freely on the canvas with your finger
Rectangle - Easily create a square or rectangle
Related - Trim and Extend Tool
The Trim and Extend tools are located in the Edit menu and can be used to either connect two lines with the extend tool or trim off unwanted parts of lines.
