In ArcSite for iOS version 4.78 and below, drawings started on an iPad or iPhone produce an error in the Windows app when opened. The error reads "Downloading X error failed, this drawing was created on an old version iOS app."
To resolve this issue, you will need to:
make sure you have the latest version of the ArcSite app. Even if you have auto update turned on, your device may not have yet downloaded the update yet. For instructions on how to update an app, follow the instructions in this apple support article.
Once you are certain you have the most up to date version, open the drawing on your tablet or phone and re-sync it with the cloud.
After the drawing is re-uploaded from a newer version of ArcSite, it will be accessible in Windows.
If you receive a different error other than the one described in this article, re-uploading the drawing will not resolve the issue. In that case, please contact support to help determine the cause of the issue.
