Using State-Specific Forms for Pest Control Industry

Updated this week

Overview

This feature provides pixel-perfect Form Blocks that help Pest Control businesses easily add government-regulated documents, such as WDO/WDI forms, to their proposals. When you add a Form Block, the system automatically creates all the required Data Fields and establishes a robust data connection that won't break if you rename your Data Fields.

This out-of-the-box solution is designed to guarantee compliance and accuracy while accelerating your setup process.

Availability

  • Supported Platforms: iOS, Android, Windows, and Web

  • Subscription Requirement: Available for the Estimate and higher tier

Feature Guide: Built-in Forms and Automated Data Setup

The core functionality of this feature is providing a library of default Forms and automatically provisioning the necessary Data Fields when the Form is used. This creates a stable and efficient experience.

What It Does

  • Automated Data Field Creation: When you add a Form Block to a template for the first time, all required Data Fields are automatically created and categorized into a new Data Group named after the Form.

  • Robust Data Connections: Data connections are maintained by a persistent ID, ensuring the link between the Form and the Data Field remains intact even if you rename the Data Field or its data group

  • Guaranteed Compliance: Provides pixel-perfect Form Blocks that replicate official, government-regulated documents.

How to Use It

Here are the steps to access and use state-specific Forms within the Proposal Template editor:

  1. Access Proposal Templates: Navigate to your Proposal Templates on the ArcSite User Site.

  2. Open/Create Template: Open an existing Proposal Template or create a new one.

  3. Add Block: Click "Add Block."

  4. Select State Forms: Go to the "State Forms" tab.

  5. Choose Form: Select the desired Form (e.g., NPMA 33 Revised 2019).

  6. Confirm Field Creation (First Time Only): If it's the first time adding the Form, a prompt will appear. Click "Confirm" to create the associated Data Fields and a new Data Group matching the Form's name.

Note: If the data group already exists with all required fields, no new fields are created, and no prompt appears.

Data collected through the automatically created Data Fields is seamlessly synced to your proposals when using a proposal template that includes the Form Block, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in your documentation.
